Who is Persephone? 

Introduction: Who is Persephone?. Persephone was the offspring of Zeus and Demeter. Her mythology makes sure that how her uncle abducted her from Hades one day while pulling flowers. Demeter, distraught, wandered the whole world in search of her daughter. When Demeter finally located Persephone in the Underworld, she demanded that her daughter return.

But Hades had tricked Persephone into eating something. At the same time, she was in the Underworld. Thus, although Persephone had allowed part of the year on Olympus with her mother, she was imposed to spend the other part of the year in the Underworld as Hades’ groom.

As the wife of Hades, Persephone was the Queen of the Underworld. She was also associated with Spring and marriage.
