End times in the Bible

Introduction: End times in the Bible is full of interesting facts. The nations of the earth are in the season of quickening toward the most incredible outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the most glorious hour of tribulation in the history of the world.

Isaiah makes it clear that in the generation of Jesus’ return, both the darkness and the glory of God will reach a remarkable level. For darkness will cover the earth, and darkness will cover the nations. Nevertheless, the Lord shall rise, and his glory shall appear upon thee. (Isaiah 60:2 MEV)

Yes, there will be a time of deep darkness, but at the same time, God’s glory will be exceptionally seen upon His people. Haggai prophesied the same and declared that God would shake the heavens, earth, sea, and nations. In the context of this world change, multitudes will come to Jesus, who will be seen as the “desire of all nations.”

Thus, the Lord of hosts:”I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the arid land. Furthermore, I will shake all the nations, and they will come to the will of all nations [Jesus]. (Haggai 2:6-7)”

There are four reasons to study end time in the Bible are given below.

There will be unique dynamics. The generation of Jesus’ return will be a unique dynamic – the only generation that will see the most remarkable revival and the greatest tribulation in all of earth’s history. These two extremes will come together at the same time. Yes, the dynamics on earth will be unprecedented due to the manifestation of good and evil – no one has ever walked this path before.

No other generation had to go through these two extremes. It forms a situation where many people are scared, confused, and looking for answers. It is one reason God gave more information about this generation in the Bible.

There are prophetic reasons that appear in the biblical signs of the times.

The Lord blessed His people with prophetic information about the generation of His appearing called “signs of the times.” Biblical signs of the times contain events and trends foretold by Jesus, the apostles, or the Old Testament prophet; these signs that God’s people (who are alive in the generation of Jesus’ return) will experience in their early days I will get Will’s report back.

In Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, Jesus recognized 22 signs of this time. Now, for the only time in history, most of these signs are growing and making global headlines. When all the signs intensify simultaneously, God’s people “know” that they are living in the generation of Christ’s return. Jesus commanded a generation to know that His return was near.

The first observation of “all these things” (Matthew 24:33) directs to the signs of the junctures before and during the significant problem (Matthew 24:5-28). The second statement of “all these things” (Matthew 24:34) directs to what will occur after the great tribulation when Jesus returns to heaven (Matthew 24:29-31).

There may be people alive on earth today that will see his return. No one comprehends how long that last generation will last, but God revealed that one generation could last 100 years (Genesis 15:13-16).

Bible promises to increase understanding in the end-time church.

Jeremiah prophesied that God would give His people a “full” or firm understanding of His end-time judgments against the Antichrist’s kingdom. In other words, He will raise people who understand His end-time plans as described in the Bible.

The wrath of the Lord will not return until he acts upon the thoughts of his heart. You will understand it better in the coming days. (Jeremiah 23:20; emphasis added)

We can only come to a complete understanding when we respect, communicate, and learn from each other in the various branches of the body of Christ. No one group will have everything. Nevertheless, together, the body of Christ can gain a solid understanding.

I believe we can only gain a complete understanding of the end times in the collective wisdom of all the nations of the body of Christ. We require each other to understand each other.

Use this information evangelistically in ways that surprise us. Unbelievers are curious to know what the Bible says about the end times. By increasing understanding, we can be part of the solution, not add to the confusion of those who accept the secular narrative and are driven by fear, guilt, lust, or delusion.

With a solid biblical picture of the unique dynamics of the end times, God’s people will be equipped to predict and interpret various disasters accurately. By comprehending the biblical narrative, God’s people will have the tools to process growing stress in a way that helps them grow spiritually and in love. The Bible Has Reasons – 150 chapters are examined with a focus on the end times.

The generation referred to in the Bible is the generation that will be alive when Jesus returns. In fact, in over 150 chapters of the Bible, the events surrounding Jesus’ return race are the central focus. To get some perspective on the significance of these 150-plus chapters, consider that 89 chapters in the four Gospels focus on the first coming of Jesus to accomplish salvation.

In contrast to these 89 chapters, nearly twice as many chapters (150) in the Bible concentrate on events or trends in the generation when Jesus returns to rule the earth openly.

There is power in knowledge. I have good news! Because God can accurately reveal the details of His end-time plan, we know He has power over them and can use them redemptive for the good of His people. He can overcome adverse events to work for the good of His people (Romans 8:28).

Because Jesus is in complete management and sincerely loves His people, we are in His right hands. We can stand in faith, filled with peace and growing in love. Only those who interpret what is occurring from God’s standpoint will be equipped to respond with such dedication and conviction.

Four pastoral challenges will arise in the end-time church.

There are also pastoral reasons for focusing on these 150 chapters of the Bible. I identify four adverse reactions that Jesus warned the end-time church to be prepared to overcome.

Again, I accentuate that people must understand the biblical narrative of what will occur, or they will adopt the secular narrative of increased pressure, fear, sin, lust, and lust. Jesus’ deception highlighted four issues that will challenge many in the end. There are four pastoral challenges.

Help me remember these challenges: fear, guilt, lust, and deception.

Fear: Jesus warned that men’s hearts would be overcome with fear in the end if they were not adequately prepared in the Word and walking in the Spirit. This warning involves both believers and unbelievers. People with fear control are more prone to make terrible decisions. Jesus predicted that people would be overcome with fear.

Lust: Jesus warned his people not to burden their hearts with lust and drunkenness. The word “Crossing” speaks of selfishness, the underlying idea of which is immortality.

People who suffer from fear, anxiety, depression, or guilt find temporary relief from their stress through addiction, drugs, and crime. In other words, they “self-medicate” to eliminate their fear and pain.

Deception: Jesus prophesied that the enemy would use many false prophets for his purposes of deception. Do not think of false prophets as just cult leaders and crazy weirdoes with weird religious beliefs. There must be people who deceive others.

Nevertheless, I believe that some of the most dangerous false prophets are popular social commentators and media personalities who are dignified, good-looking, relaxed, compassionate, intelligent, and well-spoken.

They will use dynamic and creative social media platforms to connect with people. They will promote a false narrative about what is happening – a deceptive narrative contrary to the biblical narrative revealed among all nations.

Guilt: Many people become angry with God and with each other in the face of increasing pressure in the end times. Some people will resent Jesus’ leadership because they have been taught that things will get better soon or that Jesus will make them happy before things get too bad.

Therefore, many people will be angry with God, even with the leadership of Jesus, and whether the Bible is true or not. Those angry with God cannot respond to Him with heartfelt love and strong faith.

Conclusion: End times in the Bible

I acknowledge that my information will help to understand the concept of the end time in the Bible. In the end, God’s promises to Israel and the world will be fulfilled. We do not know precisely what it will look like yet. Maintaining a humble and teachable spirit when studying apocalyptic prophecy is essential.

No one knows “the day or the hour” when these events will occur (Mark 13:32). We trust God in the details and believe He will bring true justice and peace to the earth. Meanwhile, “life is Christ” (Philippians 1:21). We live for Him and look forward to His return as King of kings and Prince of Peace.
